As hot liquid melts the ice
You made me so mad I couldn’t see right
The fire melts the candle wax
My heart mourned and I cried
The sun is shinning brightly
A new day is on the horizon
Melting the snow capped mountains slightly
All hope is not dead
The rain saturates the ground
I’ve cried until I was out of my head
The dirt is now mud
You left me feeling some kind of way
The air is cold the dew turns to frost
My desire for you is gone now
Seasons change the trees lose their leaves
Time has healed the wound and I’ve forgiven
The night turns to day
I will keep my head up and
Keep on livin…..
